where should I write the code ?

i need you to answer me my only and boring question;
where should I write the Code ? should it be on special place or a program ?

i know that it's silly question to ask !!!
but what should I do !! it's my first time in lazslo

There's a my-apps folder in the install. You save text .lzx files in there and run them through a browser. There are some instructions here:

You can use any plain-text editor, such as Notepad, SimpleText, VIM, etc. etc.
