Developers' Day in Boston March 6th

Hi guys -

We are planning to have a Laszlo Developers Day in Boston on Thursday, March 6th. The Developers Day is your chance to meet some of our product development team face-to-face and gain hands-on Laszlo coding skills. If you are interested in participating in this free seminar, please send me a message either through this forum or to my Laszlo e-mail account (anne@laszlosystems.com). We will be posting a sign-up form shortly, as well, but I want to get an idea of how many people are interested.

Not directly related to the topic, but since I most probably won't be able to make it to Boston, do you have anything planned in Canada by any chance?

Any Laszlo developers near Montreal, Canada?

Hey Simeon -

We have a couple of people in Montreal I think (speak up if you are also interested in a Montreal developer day!). You could always encourage your web developer friends to sign up and then demand a local developer day. We need to get some critical mass in your area (and probably also need to wait for you guys to thaw out a bit :).

Are you coming to SF anytime soon? We are planning a Developer Day for SF the first week in April.

I _really_ wish that I could, but I am afraid I can not afford it right now. Have some friends in the area, may be next time I am visiting them.

Is there way for me to find out who else is in Montreal (and area or Canada in general)?

As a rule, we want to respect everyone's privacy on the forums, so we don't ask for addresses unless you win something :-). A registered user is free to add additional personal info to his or her personal profile like hometown, birthdate and IM address by going to the user control panel (there is a link to User CP under the search field on the forums start page).

Generally, I know there are Canadians out there on the forums since I've talked by telephone to some very nice and smart developers up north who are using Laszlo. I encourage you fellow Canadians to get in touch with Simeon and help us welcome him to the Laszlo developers' community. You can also send him a personal message through the forums if you'd like by clicking on his name.
