I'd love to help on a project like this. I know Dreamweaver pretty well and could whip up something interesting inside Dreamweaver itself just using Dreamweaver's existing extensibility pretty quickly. What are the "integration points" -- meaning what aspects of Dreamweaver need to have LZX/Laszlo specific changes?

If you get something like this off the ground I'd love to beta test it for you. Being a UI Designer I'm always looking for tools to rapidly proptype a UI that I can then hand off to developers for finalizing.

I would be happy with a utility that showed layout changes in real-time, even if they have to be coded by hand still. Though, being able to "draw" in the components would be sort of nice.

I'd really like to be able to edit and preview inside Eclipse. Even without that, it'd be nice to be able to get code hint access in Eclipse.
