Unicode support

I believe that Lazslo is great product. Moreover, it has a more flexible licensing scheme than Flex. However, the lack of support on Unicode actually prevents us from incorporating Lazlo into our Internet GIS project as the project has to deal with Chinese and Portuguese at the same time. Could anybody from Lazslo tell us when the Unicode-enable version will be avaialbe?

Unicode support is on the roadmap and it will be here soon. That's all I can tell you.

Thanks for your reply and glad to know that the functionality will be available soon!

May you roughly point out when the Unicode-enabled version will be available, before or after the first half of this year? I seek to know this estimated time of availability as I need to know whether we could defer the development of the presentation layer of our system until the arrival of the Unicode-enabled version of Lazslo.
