popup window

Some where on this site I saw a "widget" that would popup (on mouseover) and would stay visible until the user clicked the mouse again.

It seemed like a view that was visible on mouseover and stayed visible until the mouse was clicked again. Is anyone fimilar with this.....?

Do you mean the mode manager - it controls modality?
