I have been searching for a way to record live audio via a web-brower interface for some time. Have had good success with java-applet but the limitations of applets are well known. Is it possible to record audio with lazlo?

I am also in need of this feature. I understand that ActionScript in flash can do this, but requires a flash server to upload the audio to. What I need is simply to record audio (maybe compress to mp3) and upload it to the server using http post or something (authenticating during the post request). Without using flash and actionscript or a java applet I don't see anyway of doing this in the web browser with or without Laszlo. So perhaps this is the wrong place to be looking for such a feature. But if laszlo can compile to actionscript (flash), maybe eventually we can get this support. There is an open source implementation of a flash media server out there that would be able to form the backend. Anyway, just some thoughts.
