supported actionscript?

In the dev guide chapter on resources, there is this:

Support is limited to SWF files that contain stills or animation only. Very limited ActionScript is allowed/supported (see below for more details).

But below the word 'actionscript' doesn't appear. What is allowed? What isn't? I have a pre-existing SWF that I want to load in a view, but it's not showing up properly.

very little it seems if in any way it is a complex swf ..

can't you load it (unrestricted) in a separate div container or must it appear "in canvas"?
