I'm just finding out about Laszlo, and it sounds pretty good. I would like to find a tool that will let me develop enterprise type RIAs - Laszlo sounds great for that. But I'd like that same tool to also be able to create RIAs that can run on a PC that is completely isolated - no wired or wireless connections. I know the application can be compiled in a SOLO type. Can that then call something like java that can access an XML, csv, or even an Access database? Do we have to use a web server? I can download the data to the PC in whatever format is needed.
I was hoping to find a toolset that can span both enterprise wide and standalone setups; that way I won't have to learn two different toolsets.
If Laszlo can't do this, does anyone have any other ideas?
Thanks,
Scott

Wow, there are several posts about this topic.
Thanks, I'm glad this isn't that far out type of question. I'm going to check out Screen Waever.
