Timeout loading resources

How can I adjust the 30 seconds timeout that appends when loading an image using setSource?

I have the problem with images on slow connections.

The images must be loaded at runtime.

An image >= 150Kb over 56kbit modem is really a problem.

I have changed the lps.properties, but nothing changed.

I'm using 3.1 version from 1 Nov.

cant u set teh quality of the jpg lower so its smaller?

i need an answer to this too, but rather to have the timeout to be less than 30 sec.

I have the same issue, is there an event that is thrown when the 30 second timeout occurs?

I cant adjust the image quality down as they are medical images. and some of them are 10 megabytes in size.
