Link colors

Do you think that the Laszlo website would benefit or suffer from having colored links in text?

Do you think that body copy in an editorial section of our website should have the visual flow and readablility disturbed by loud neon-bright blue type, or is the underline enough of an indication of a link for our web-savvy audience?

I think the links should hover a little bit above the
plane of the page, and shimmer when viewed from the corner of your eye.

I still need to get my 3D display though.

Actually, on Macromedia's site, they make the
link color different for each different product area.
This would seem to be confusing but actually works fine, serving to subtly remind you which section of
the site you are in.
