Downloading files from the server

Is there any method in LZX to download a file from the server and save it to the local file system?

as far as i know there is a security restriction in the macromedia flash player that prevents storing to local filesystem.

You might consider using the bidirectional Browser javascript implementation added in 3.0 to pull this off. See LzBrowser.loadJS().
