Video conference ?

Does Laszlo support video conference like Macromedia flash communication server ?

Unfortunately not. The Flash Comm Server uses a different kind of transfer protocol than HTTP to allow for a constant two way connection. However, this is something I'd like to see in Laszlo myself and may be possible with the release of the new Flash Comm Server which is rumoured to have an API for open source scripting of the Comm Server transfer protocol.

Anyone out there know how to achieve this already? It must be possible as it didn't take long for the AMF technology to be broken down.

I have found through osflash.org a server called RED5.
It is all written in java with sample fla files for connections etc. It is in a release level and from what I have done to set up the Red5 needs the same server as Lazlo.

I am new to Lazlo as of today. I will start to play with this idea and post something.
