Are Portals compatible with Laszlo?

Hi all,
I am not an expert at Laszlo but I wanted to ask the following:

1. Are Portals compatible with Laszlo?

2. Is the Presentation Server on top of an Application Server (say JBOSS)?

3. Can you integrate an existing email system such as Lotus Notes into a Dashboard?

4. Can you authenticate Laszlo by using LDAP?

4. Can you integrate a Centralised Log On system (ie. one that logs you on to Laszlo, Lotus Notes, Websphere, Tomcat applications, etc.) using LDAP?

I noticed that the Dashboard example looks nice but would be just the thing if I could achieve the above.
