Hey Laszlo developers!

Laszlo has been nominated, along with Google, Apache, Linux and phpBB in the Technical Achievement Category in this years Webby Awards. This is an outstanding achievement on it’s own but let’s see if we can make it even better by casting your vote for Laszlo in Webby's People's Voice awards.

It’s pretty easy, just register (name + email) and cast your vote, there's also a forum for posts. Please forward this email on to friends to show support for Laszlo.

7th Annual Webby Awards
The best five best Web sites in 30 categories are selected by members of the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences to be nominated every year. These sites are examined in a three-tiered process and weighed against six criteria to determine the nominees and the winners. There are two winners per category: the Webby Award and the People's Voice Award. According to the Webby site: "These nominees exemplify the very best that the internet has to offer."

The awards ceremony is taking place this year on June 5, 2003. The winners will be announced at the event; scheduled to be held in the Teatro ZinZanni in San Francisco.

Technical Achievement Category 2003:
Technical Achievement nominees are those sites "introducing or integrating technology that pushes the envelope, and invite us to believe in what once seemed impossible." Laszlo has been nominated among four other players, including; Apache Web Server, Google, Linux and phpBB

Check it out! btw, there are also some very funny nominees in the wierd category.

Best,
Anne.
