Testing Laszlo UI

I am interested in using Laszlo but I am also wondering how would I test such a UI?
Is there anything that can be used to drive the client and introspect on its state?
This would be to me a very big factor to choose DHTML over laszlo.

I'm no expert in this area, however, since the requests occur over http I wonder if you could use something like JMeter to set-up a test script - what I don't know is if JMeter can read into Flash on the client to look for results...
