Flash, laszlo, webservices and integrating them to talk to JSP

Hi,
I need to validate forms with Actionscript in Flash MX and have it contact a JSP page with web services. Is it possible do most of the front end in Flash and once the form is validated use the swf to send the variables to the java server page in web services?
