Anyone know how to access the LPS 2.2 server running on a home network gateway via a router? (All WinXP)

If you're inside the network just use the IP of the machine running the LPS - for example, my LPS is set up on a machine set to 192.168.1.2 (static IP) so navigating to http://192.168.1.2:8080/lps-2.2/ brings up the server on any computer running inside the local network.
However, if you wish to access it from outside your local network you'll need to open up port 8080 on your router and re-route all requests coming to the router on that port to forward to the appropriate internal IP. You also might want to set up a dynamic DNS (http://www.dyndns.org/) to allow you to just type http://yoururl.dyndns.org/ instead of having to figure out the IP of your router everytime.
Hopefully that makes sense.

I assume you are talking remotely?
If thats the case, check the config of your servlet container / web server (jetty, tomcat...foo) find out what ports it's using (8009, 80, 8080 etc...) forward all of the ports in the router to the ip address of the internal machine...
If you define your goal/need a little more I can give you a better structured answer :)

I don't think remotely is the case, but...
I have a (wireles) router to my DSL and two PCs and a notebook and a VoIP modem connected- all WinXP.
The PC with WinXP pro has LPS 2.2 running and "hello world" lxh runs ok w/foxfire.
When I use foxfire from another PC using
http://192.168.2.3:8080/lps-2.2/examples/hello.lzx
nothing happens.
I am technical, but not in this arena.
Thanks.

If you're running XP and have upgraded to SP2 or have enabled a firewall you'll need to open the port for Tomcat on the PC running Laszlo. It should be under 'Advanced' settings in your network config.
