Another very cool OpenLaszlo application is the 5155 Rich Communications Manager by Alcatel Lucent.
Alcatel developed what may be one of the most advanced unified communication solutions with their Rich Communication Manager 5155, a web-based communication portal with super user experience, built on the Laszlo Webtop product. Alcatel Lucent announced a first customer for the product in February 2009 naming Telefonica/O2 in the Czech Republic as a first customer.
On a personal note: The first OpenLaszlo demo I built in July/August 2004 was a demo of an OpenLaszlo app simulating CTI integration with an Alcatel PBX, running in an IE embedded into a Java app. Well, we dreamed of what Alcatel Lucent built back then. ;-)
