I'm just getting into LZX and finding it quite nice. Coming from a media/arts background most of my samples will tend to gravitate towards working with images, animation, audio and video. Sorry about the extra filesize.
Gotta mention how easy it was to get a SWF video running in Laszlo, along with creating a progress bar and psuedo time-code display - so intuitive.
Biggest breakthrough for me was ${expressions} - being able to set attribute values as expressions without having to worry about update events is a godsend! No more having to manage onUpdate(), and then having it combined with built-in layout managers that work! WhooHoo!
ie: <view width="${parent.width-10}.../>
The video is by Justin Cone from a Creative Commons - compressed using Sorenson Squeeze to SWF (not FLV).
