Access to the Browser DOM

Is it possible to access the browser DOM that contains the Flash player and therefore the Lazslo application?

What we would like to do is to have an HTML page that has mixed HTML and Laszlo content. When the user presses a button in the Laszlo app then an HTML element is enabled or made visible/invisible on that web page.

Is this possible? I couldn't find anything about this in the online docs.
