is lazlo free?

hello,
excuse the dumb question, i know that the lps is free to download and develop with. but can one now deploy lazlo for commercial uses - free of charge?

its just i've been reading alot of threads where lazlo used to cost money and i'm just wondering if the fact that it has gone open source changes things.

Yes. Laszlo has switched to a services business model (you can pay them for support), while the product is "free" (open source).
