Hello folks,
http://imoracle.x10hosting.com/mediaplayer
Check out a small example from me, of how one can build OpenLaszlo to build interesting, light weigth applications.
Here I have developed an example Mp3player, will soon add up media/video playing capabilities too.
I hope you will like this demo from my side. Kindly give your feedbacks and comments on the same. I will try my best to include all possible features into it.
PS: Search option is currently disabled.
Regards,
Imoracle.

Hey Man, Thanx for such a kind consideration.
It's still just my second week into open laszlo, and I am still learning. I will surely make this open source once I finish adding all the features in my mind.
As I am a newbie, it might take some time. But yes we can surely work in a collaboration.
Thanx again for consideration.
PS: Keep checking the player regularly, I just keep updating additional features every now and then. :)

I think I wont be able to connect to that, it times out again n again. Anyways can you tell me how to obtain a GPL or LGPL license. I too would love to release it with the same license.
Thanx in advance.

I still have about 16 enhancements in my mind.

Hi Imoracle,
This would be a great widget to add into Qrowd for others to use. I already have a quick and dirty MP3 player that I slapped together in a couple of hours (here: http://www.qrowd.com/browse.htm), but yours has many more features.
One advantage to Qrowd integration will be that others can feed MP3's available all over the web into your widget. My sample uses the SeeqPod API to locate MP3's. Their API also has a feature that provides song suggestions that mimic Pandora's functionality. I'm sure people outside the USA who have had Pandora's service blocked would love a similar player that could be created using your player as a starting point together with the SeeqPod API.
Anyone with OpenLaszlo (Javascript and XML) experience can add new parts into Qrowd. If you would like to take a stab, let me know. Otherwise, let me know when you GPL the code, as I would like to replace my barebones player with yours.
Thanks,
Robert
