OL 4.1.x 6853 canvas size on IE7

Hi all,

I'm still developing a medical applcation using OL with success on SWF and DHTML on Firefox. Using IE7 (7.0.5730.11) I have some issues with;

1.) Tabs:
See the attached image. They are looking somewhat ugly.

2.) Canvas Size:

My canvas dimensions are set to 100% as follows:

<canvas height="100%" width="100%" debug="false" bgcolor="#000000" proxied="true">

On Firefox the canvas fits exactly into the inner screen of the browsable window,
but in IE the canvas it too high and overlapped by the compile options and deployment frame.

I'm using the following LPS version:

The attached images overlap-ie.jpg and nooverlap-ff.jpg illustrate the overlapping issue.

Okay it seems that issue 2) reported here is described in LPP-4292 but what about issue 1) ?
