Drag and drop across windows

Hi
I have two windows having opttrees, I need to perform a drag and drop operation across these two opttrees. How to do this?

I changed the opttree code to support drag across x axis, The problem I face now is the dragged node gets limited within the opttree view. It does not stick with the mouse and travel to the other windows opttree.
