Hi,
I am integrating OL into an existing web setup that uses Apache's basic authentication. I have bolted Tomcat and OL onto this using Apache's jk_module and so now my OL pages work fine on this server.
My question is, the rest of the site utilises Apache's basic auth, asking for a username and password for various parts of the site. How can I do the same for my OL pages? Also, once Apache has authenticated the user, is this authentication information (username and password etc..) availble from within OL?
Any help on this would be most appreciated as I must admit to being totally lost on this front.
Cheers
Rich
